At Bannister Oak Farms, our mission extends beyond producing nutrient-dense food— it's about fostering meaningful connections and making a difference in people's lives.

Todd's upbringing on his family's farm in California shaped him profoundly. From milking cows at the age of 8 to honing his skills in woodworking and construction under his father's guidance, Todd's journey led him back to the farm. Alongside his wife Sherry, they ran various woodworking and construction businesses before seeking a simpler life in a small Amish community in Missouri, which reignited their passion for farming.

Inspired by the deep sense of community inherent in the Amish way of life and deeply troubled by the reality of human trafficking and child exploitation, BOF made its mission to partner with organizations dedicated to combating these injustices.

Our mission is clear: we stand alongside these organizations, fostering environments of care where survivors can not only heal but thrive. Through skill-building, personal development, and the restoration of dignity, we empower individuals to reclaim their lives and become catalysts for positive change within their communities.
